Negotiation

We have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating initial or renewed Collective Agreements with both unions and/or employees. Aside from drafting and negotiating Collective Agreements we complete all of the necessary forms required by Fair Work Australia and carry out the mandatory Better of Overall Test. We are also registered with Fair Work Australia for lodgement of Collective Agreements and this ensures the speedy attention to any Collective Agreement that we lodge on our client’s behalf.

Negotiation is not a “one size fits all” approach. To be successful in negotiation requires a negotiator to have widespread experience as to the end result and how to get there. The negotiator should have an extensive knowledge of the area of negotiation that they are involved in.
